How do I get started with my Sol Brush?
Remove the netting from the brush head and put the cap back on. With the cap on, slam it on a hard surface about 10 times to push powder into the bristles. Sweep it across your palm to check, then brush it on. That's it!
How often should I reapply?
At least every 2 hours. After swimming or sweating, reapply after 80 minutes, or right after towel drying.
Is it waterproof?
No sunscreen can be called waterproof. Sol Brush is Water Resistant (80 minutes). Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, and at least every 2 hours.
Can I use it over makeup?
Yes. It works as a setting powder and goes right over a full face, so midday SPF never ruins your look.
Is it safe for babies and kids?
Yes. Sol Brush is kid- and baby-safe: the mineral only formula has no oxybenzone and no octinoxate and sits on top of the skin. For babies under 6 months, ask a doctor.
Will it leave a white cast?
No. The powder blends into all skin tones without a chalky film. Pick Translucent for no color, or a tint for a hint of coverage.
Is it safe to breathe in?
It is brushed onto skin, not sprayed into the air, so it is not a mist the way aerosol sprays are. Brush gently and avoid puffing powder toward the face. For young kids, sweep it onto the face carefully.
Why does my brush look less full than I expected?
The fill is measured by weight, not by how full the barrel looks, and powder settles in shipping. With the cap on, slam it on a hard surface about 10 times and it fluffs right back. All your product is there.
