How do I start using my Sol Brush?

Getting your Sol Brush ready is easy! Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Remove the Netting: Take off the protective netting around the brush.
  2. Replace Parts: Put the guard and the cap back on the brush.
  3. Prime the Brush: With the cap still on, turn the brush upside down and gently tap it five times on a hard surface. You’ll know it’s ready when you see powder coming out.

What is the best way to use Sol Brush?

Using your Sol Brush is easy and flexible, perfect for protecting you and your family from the sun. Here are some tips to help you get the most out of our product:

  1. Prime Your Brush: Before you start, make sure your brush is primed. Here’s a quick guide on how to do it: How to Prime Your Sol Brush.
  2. Apply the Powder: Once the powder is flowing, gently brush it onto your skin where you need sun protection. Ensure you can see the powder on your skin for full coverage.
  3. Rub It In: Gently rub the powder into your skin. It’s okay if you can still see it—that means it’s there to protect you!
  4. Regular Reapplication: Reapply every 60-80 minutes, or after you dry off with a towel if you’ve been swimming or sweating.

Additional Tips:

  • Remember, no sunscreen can block 100% of UV rays. Light-skinned individuals or those prone to burning may benefit from additional layers of protection. Consider reapplying more frequently or layering over a liquid sunscreen.
  • Sol Brush is also excellent for touch-ups throughout the day and for tricky spots like your hairline where creams are hard to apply.

Is Sol Brush Waterproof?

Our SPF 50 brushes are water and sweat resistant for up to 80 minutes! This makes it suitable for activities involving water or sweat, but we recommend reapplying after this time to maintain effectiveness.

Do You Offer Refills for Sol Brush?

Currently, Sol Brush does not offer refills for our brushes. We are always looking for ways to improve our products and services, so this may change in the future. Stay tuned for updates!

What is the estimated shelf life of Sol Brush?

The estimated shelf life of Sol Brush is 2 years from the date of manufacture. However, we recommend using the product within 12 months of opening for optimal performance and freshness.

Is Sol Brush suitable for use on my kids?

Absolutely! Sol Brush products are designed with the whole family in mind, including children. We’re committed to clean formulations, using only high-quality ingredients that meet strict safety standards. You can feel confident using our products to protect your little ones from the sun.

Is Sol Brush safe for babies?

Yes, Sol Brush products are carefully formulated for the whole family’s safety, including babies. However, we always recommend consulting with a pediatrician or dermatologist before using new skincare products on infants, to ensure it aligns with your baby’s specific health needs. This way, you can be confident that the product is safe and suitable for your little one.

Is Sol Brush safe to use while pregnant?

While Sol Brush is crafted with high-quality ingredients, we recommend checking with your doctor before using any new products during pregnancy. This ensures they are safe and appropriate for your specific health needs.

How much product is in the brush?

Classic SPF 30 Sol Brush: Each brush contains .71 oz or 20 grams of mineral powder sunscreen.

Limited Edition SPF 50 Sol Brush: Each of these brushes contains .63 oz or 18 grams of mineral sunscreen powder.

Each Sol Brush is sold by weight, ensuring you receive the correct amount of our protective mineral powder.

Why does my brush seem less full?

It’s natural to notice some settling of the powder in your Sol Brush. This happens due to variations in motion, temperature, and humidity during shipping or regular use. If your brush seems less full, simply give it a gentle shake. This helps the powder aerate and evenly distribute within the container.

How long does Sol Brush last?

Each Sol Brush is designed to last as long as 5-7 cans of spray sunscreen, giving you plenty of coverage for extended sun protection.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Can I change or cancel my order?

We are unable to accommodate change requests for once an order has been placed. However, if you wish to cancel your entire order, there might be a window of opportunity within the first few hours of placing the order. Please reach out to us at hello@solbrush.com as soon as you can after placing your order and we will make every effort to assist you with your request.

How can I track the progress of my order?

Once your order ships you will get a confirmation email with tracking information. You can easily monitor the status of your order by referring to the shipping confirmation email you received. You can also see the status by entering your order number and email address here. If, for any reason, you don't have access to your order number or haven't received it, please feel free to reach out to us via email at hello@solbrush.com we'll be delighted to assist you by checking the status of your order and providing the necessary information.

Does Sol Brush provide international shipping?

Currently, Sol Brush only offers shipping within the United States. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope to expand our shipping capabilities to international destinations in the near future.

I am missing an item from my order.

If an item is missing from your order, please email us at hello@solbrush.com with your order number. We’ll look into it right away and make sure you receive your missing item as soon as possible.

I have returned my item, when will I receive a refund?

Once we receive your return, your refund will be issued. Please allow 3-5 days for processing. Please note that our system only allows for refunds to be issued to the original form of payment.
