What they are

Bug Patch Bite Bandages are small hydrocolloid patches that cover a bite, so fingers have a cover to bump into instead of the bite itself. Each pouch holds 36 patches in fun designs.

Pop one over clean, dry skin and wear it as long as needed. Peel it off when you're done and add a fresh one whenever you like. Keep spare patches out of reach of children.

They don't keep mosquitoes away and they don't treat bites. The job split is simple: Bug Brush is the plant based mosquito repellent you brush on before you head out, made to reduce mosquito bites, and a Bug Patch covers a bite after it happens. If a bite worries you, check in with your doctor.

Questions people ask first

Still wondering about something? The Help Center has more answers, or send us a note and a real person writes back.

What are Bug Patches? Do they stop bites or help with itching?

Bug Patches are small hydrocolloid patches that cover a bite, so little fingers have a cover to bump into instead of the bite itself. Pop one over clean, dry skin and wear it as long as needed. They don't keep mosquitoes away (that's Bug Brush's job), and they don't treat bites. If a bite worries you, check in with your doctor.

Are the stickers, bracelets and patches OK for kids?

Our "6 months and up" guidance comes from the Bug Brush label, so it belongs to Bug Brush. For the stickers, bracelets and patches, follow the directions printed on each pouch, have a grown up put them on little ones, and keep spare stickers and patches out of reach of children. Bug Brush itself is for ages 6 months and up and is safe when used as directed.

What's in the stickers, bracelets and patches?

Each one is made differently, so each has its own ingredient list on its product page and its pouch. The stickers and bracelets are made with mosquitoes in mind; the patches are simple covers for a bite. Bug Brush is the one with the six plant actives (neem, lemongrass, lavender, peppermint, geraniol and menthol) and the lavender and lemongrass scent.
